What does the "bridging delay" do? It's set to a default of 2 seconds.
What does the "bridging delay" do? It's set to a default of 2 seconds.
It's the delay in seconds the bridge will 'listen' on the given devices learning where all the MACs reside before it starts forwarding traffic. The longer the delay, the more accurate the bridging will be right off the bat, but the longer it will take to beging forwarding traffic.
