I'm trying to find a PCMCIA to PCI adapter that supports 32-bit(CardBus) cards that will work with the OS. Recently I purchased a Syba card but the OS does not seem to find it. It has a Ricoh chip on the board. The PCMCIA card that I want to use required a 32-bit adapter.
Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

We have single and dual adapters. Bossman has the superior Elan P111 (cost more though). http://forums.star-os.com/viewtopic.php?t=577
Choices abound. http://www.star-os.com/ on the hardware page.

Can you fit two orinoco cards in this? Do the cards have to be modified?

Sure if you use the short cards without the diversity antenna.
a minor modification to the standard cards will allow 2 of them. You have to remove the black plastic casing from tne end of the card, and then remove the internal antenna. I usually use one of the short cards, and then a standard in the dual adapters.
