wpcm0:disgarding packet going the wrong way!

Hi,

We just replaced our dual radio soekris repeater setup with two box setup having the same dual PCMCIA soekris running as backhaul and added ATX733 box as AP. Instead of connecting these boxes with crossover, we have used hub (fearing soekris short ethernet problem). Since then we have been seeing this kernel log message
"wpcm0:disgarding packet going the wrong way"
in the soekris occasionally but when it shows up, log gets flooded with this message and we found our ATX733 AP link down.

What does this message mean? any idea?

This message is displayed on older StarOS systems when using infrastructure bridging. Once you upgrade, the message and most likely your problem will go away.

yes you are right, the star-os version is cpe 1.10.8 (3080) and it is running in infra bridge mode.

I'll upgrade to the latest cpe version and let you know.
