Good to see the forums back on-line....

I hope the fires are no longer a danger.

I did some digging, to find news on the fire... There are hundreds of active fires in BC alone... And it's a normal number of fires for this time of year. The upshot is for the last 10 years the fires take less and less ground.

The fires are 100 miles south of us, but they took out a very major power grid, so we are on generator for a few days. They are still trying to get another grid tied to the north, but they have to build up some switches first.

On Tuesday we go Solar if there is not change in the situation. My batteries and generator will get us through until then.
