I'm getting ready to install my first link using staros/802.11 equipment. The distance is 1.8 miles, I can barely see the roof of the target building above the trees, but I CAN see it. I have a 12db YDI omni on my main building, and will be using a 16db andrews microceptor antenna on the remote building. Lucent radios on both ends. Can anyone comment on the probability of getting a good link between those 2 sites? I figure everything is good, except for the fresnel clearance, and I don't know how that will affect my signal. tia
