I have quite a few Alvarion Breezenet PC-DS.11b cards. These use the agere chip set and I understand offer the ability to change the transmit power levels.

Is there any plan to support these cards on StarOS ? No worries if not, as I can use them in end user installs. But if you do add support, the ability to reduce the transmit power levels would be useful in countries where the radio police are difficult.

Have you tried them and know for sure they do not work?

If they are not recognized, could you put them into a machine with a public IP and preivately send me the IP and password? I would like to take a peek at the system, and maybe figure out what we can do to add support. I suspect it will not be a big problem for the cards, as I'm pretty sure we already have the driver for them. Maybe a tweak or two, but no biggie.
